The Buffalo Funds were launched in 1994 as a way to provide managed investment vehicles for the private accounts of clients of Kornitzer Capital Management, the Funds’ adviser. From the initial launch of the Flexible Income Fund, 9 additional no-load mutual funds have been introduced, featuring varying strategies, capital size ranges, and investment objectives.
The firm has grown in assets under management and personnel, and we continue to grow as investors come to recognize us as conscientious, long-term, focused money managers. While the funds are no-load, management and other expenses still apply. Please refer to the prospectus for further details.
Origin of the Fund Name
The Buffalo Funds name originated with the idea of the American buffalo, which provided food, clothing, and shelter for Native Americans throughout the Midwest for thousands of years.
