The Buffalo Funds are managed by a talented team of experienced investment professionals who do all their own research - they do not rely on outside research or ratings; their work is comprehensive and 100% internally generated. This commitment to research enables the fund managers to think independently and invest with confidence for the long term, especially when short-term sentiment runs the other way. They believe that periods of great pessimism often generate the best investment opportunities.
Each fund's management team is supported by a research staff that has specific industry coverage across all market capitalizations. Every team member - portfolio managers and research analysts - is involved and expected to add value to the research process and is responsible for monitoring existing portfolio holdings as well as uncovering new ideas for the funds.
