John C. Kornitzer is the Founder of Kornitzer Capital Management (KCM) and the Buffalo Funds and has professional investment industry experience since 1968. John is a Private Client Portfolio Manager and also Portfolio Manager for the Buffalo Flexible Allocation Fund.

Prior to founding KCM, John was Vice President of Investments for Employers Reinsurance Corp (ERC). He joined ERC in 1978, and managed assets for the company through acquisitions by Getty Oil, Texaco and finally General Electric Investment Corporation (GEIC), where he ran investment portfolios for ERC and GEIC until founding KCM in 1989. John’s extensive experience also includes 11 years on Wall Street; seven years for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. and four years as Vice President and managing partner of Butcher & Singer’s New York region.
